Cade Irwin was in the zone on Friday, tallying five hits and leading Hesston College to a 20-3 win over East Central College Falcons.  Irwin doubled in the first, singled in the third, singled in the fourth, homered in the sixth, and singled in the sixth.

The Larks secured the victory thanks to 13 runs in the sixth inning.  The rally was led by singles from Ren Yokoyama,  Cade Irwin, Dylan Maltby, and Dylan Petersen, doubles by Ick Cirino and Kody Pilor, and a aditional home run by Irwin all in the same inning.

The Falcons offense came in the first inning, when Orman homered on a 2-2 count, scoring two runs.

Hesston hit two home runs on the day. Irwin went yard in the sixth inning. Sean Maple had his in the first inning. This gave Maple 13 on the year and putting him number one on the all time list for career home runs at Hesston College. 

The Larks collected 20 hits on the day with Irwin, Maple, Yokoyama, Maltby, Cirino, and Otonashi all managing multiple hits.

Irwin went 5-for-5 at the plate to lead the team in hits.
