Hesston, KS - The Hesston College Men's Soccer Team battled against league opponent Allen Community College on Saturday night to the tune of five goals and overtime. The Larks came out victorious thanks to an overtime golden goal by Freshman Samuel Musungaie, his 8th on the season in 10 games overall. Sophomore Lusanda Nyathi and Freshman Roman Clevenot had the other two goals along with two assists for Clevenot as well. Hesston was able to get out to a 2-0 lead quickly in the first half but a relentless offensive attack by the Red Devils which included 33 shots tied the match at 2-2. Sophomore Goalkeeper Christian Kelly had a career day with 17 saves including multiple all out dives to deflect the fall at the last minute. 

This win improves the Larks to a 6-3-1 record and they will be back in action on Tuesday vs. Bethany College JV at Sieber Field Sept 27th.
