Hesston, Kan. -  The Larks had a strong first half, but it was not enough to overcome Johnson County in a 94-79 loss. By halftime, Hesston College was in a battle and only down by two. The Larks came out cold in the second half, shooting 25 percent from the 3-point line and allowing the Cavaliers to build a 20 point lead. Hesston, through tough defense and forcing six second half turnovers on Johnson County, fought back to within nine. The Cavaliers finished off the game shooting 83 percent from the free throw line, making 15 of their last 18 for the game. The leading scorer for the Larks was sophomore David Duncan who had 26 points on the night. Johnson County's Tymer Jackson finished with 25 points..
