Hesston, Kan. -  The Hesston Larks battled tough with the #12 ranked Cavaliers in a duel that ended up in a 5-3 loss. Sophomore Gen Takahashi scored two goals for Hesston including the one to go up 3-1 in the 51st minute. Johnson County had their way with the Larks defense in the second half scoring three goals in 10 minutes to take the lead. Jacksyn McIntyre put the game away in the 86th minute for the cavaliers to go up 5-3. Freshman goalie Luis Jimenez saved seven shots and the Larks offense put up 11 shots total. With this loss Hesston falls to 1-10 all time versus Johnson County Community College. The Larks will be back in action at home on Saturday Oct 14th against region opponent Central Columbus Community College at 4pm.
