Mundelein, ILĀ -Ā Hesston College Volleyball earned their first and second wins of the season on Saturday going 3-0 and 3-1. Against Dayspring Bible the Larks were able to defend at a high level with 48 digs and put together a quality offense with 36 kills. Freshman Se'maiya Farrow led the team in assists with 14. The second game of the day against Triton College ended in the Larks' second win of the season. Freshman Brittany Cato led the offense with seven kills and sophomore Kalia Baker had an additional six aces for a total of 12 on the day. The serving in game two was incredible for the Larks as they combined for 17 aces as a team. Hesston will move back to KJCCC play on Wednesday as they travel to Coffeyville, Kansas for a tough matchup against the Red Ravens.Ā
