Hesston, Kan -Ā The Larks start the 2023-24 season 1-0 with a 110-61 dominating win over the Ottawa Braves. Leading scorer for Hesston was Sophomore Quez Wright with 21 points and seven rebounds. Sophomore Rob Gambill also had a great game chipping in 17 points, nine rebounds and four assists while shooting 3-5 from the 3pt line. The Larks outrebounded the Braves 65-22 and were able to get 48 bench points. Every Lark was able to get in the game for at least six minutes and 12 out of 15 scored a basket. This is the first of three games this week for Hesston and a good beginning to a season filled with promise.
