Salina, Kan. -  The Hesston Larks swept Kansas Wesleyan on Tuesday afternoon 11-4 and 9-5. They were led by strong starting pitching performances from sophomores Kanaloa Kapplolu and Brody Burnette. They combined for nine innings pitched, striking out 11 batters. Game one showcased the Larks offense, as the lineup had five batters with two hits each, along with six stolen bases. Game two the Larks were able to capitalize on five batters hit by pitches to take an early lead. The pitching staff were able to hang on late to secure the seventh win for the Larks this season. These wins improved Hesston College to a record of 7-3 overall. They look to improve on this Saturday as fellow Jayhawk foe Coffeyville Community College comes to town for a double header.
