Atlanta, GA.. - Hesston College Flag Football advanced to the NJCAA Championship Game before falling short to Florida Gateway College 19-0. This was their closest matchup with the Timberwolves all season. The Championship game was played in Mercedes-Benz Stadium, home of the NFL's Atlanta Falcons. The defense in this game was stout, stopping FGC twice inside the five yard line and picking off the quarterback a confirmed three times.

This was the inaugural season for Women's Flag Football at the NJCAA level, and our Hesston Larks finished their season with a 8-7 record. Looking forward, this squad as of now will be losing only two starters and bringing in five freshmen to compliment a runner-up finish and eight win season.
