Hesston, KS -  The Hesston College Larks women's soccer team won their season opener 3-0. Sophomore Kira Kumada led the way for Hesston with two goals and an assist on the night. Sophomore Addalee Parker scored her first goal of the season which at the time gave the Larks a 2-0 lead. Freshman goalie Ashleigh Williams was able to keep a clean sheet saving four shots along with freshman goalie substitute Jaycie Walker saving one goal as well. This win is number one for Coach Sarno at the collegiate level. The Larks will be back in action on Saturday afternoon where they will be up against Metropolitan CC- Blue River at 2pm in Hesston, Kan: Sieber Field.
