Hesston, KS -  The Larks Volleyball team was able to win their first set of the season on Monday Night. Hesston went down the first two sets of the match, but then clawed their way back, winning the third set 25-to-23. The fourth and deciding set went to extra points ending in a 26-to-24 win for Bethany College. Hesston was able to score 20 plus points in three of four sets overall. This is a big bright spot in a loss for the larks and something positive the team can take away from the match. Sophomore Catryna Winzer led Hesston with six kills. Sophomore Pariss Lloyd was the leader in digs with 18. The Larks will next be in action on Wednesday evening against Johnson County Community College at 7pm in Overland Park, Kan: JCCC Gymnasium.
