Sophomore Quez Wright had a season heigh 29 points and nine rebounds to lead the offense for Hesston. The team shot 50 percent from the field in spite of a 4-for-18 night from the 3-pt line. Sophomore Rob Gambill had 12 points and six rebounds, while sophomore Luke McGinnis put in 16 points and six rebounds. Leading for the Scotties was Chris Flippin who had 19 points and nine rebounds while shooting 8-for-9 from the field. The Hesston defense held Highland to 32 points in the second half and had eight steals on the day. The all-time series between these two conference opponents moves to 9-15 for the Larks including the last two for Hesston.Ā
