HESSTON, Kan. – The Hesston College volleyball team fell to Coffeyville Community College 3-0 on Wednesday (October 9) with set scores of 16-25, 23-25, and 27-29. The Larks struggled in the opening set with the Red Ravens leading by as many as 11 at one point, but the Larks found better footing as the two teams traded points down the stretch in the final two sets.

Laura Rojas contributed significantly with 10 kills and 9 digs, while Audrey Garrison tallied 29 assists and 11 digs. Despite pushing Coffeyville to extra points in the final set, Hesston ultimately couldn't close the gap, leading to a 3-0 loss.

The Larks will be back in action on Friday (October 11) as they host the Friends University JV team in Yost Center at 6:30 p.m.
