COLUMBUS, Neb. – The Hesston College women's soccer team fell 4-0 to Central Community College on Saturday (October 19). The Larks trailed by one score at the half, but a second half surge by the Raiders lifted them to their 12th win of the season as they sit in second place behind Johnson County CC in the Region 6/9 standings.
Hesston struggled offensively, managing only three shots, with two on target, throughout the match. Central, on the other hand, was more aggressive, taking 15 shots, 12 of which were on goal. Hesston's goalkeeper, Ashleigh Williams, made nine saves in the match.
