HESSTON, Kan. – The Hesston College volleyball team claimed a decisive 3-0 victory over the Friends University JV on Sophomore Night on Friday (October 25).
Dominating each set, Hesston won with scores of 25-10, 25-17, and 25-18. Brittany Cato and Anna Franco led the team with 10 kills each followed by Laura Rojas with seven. Franco was particularly effective, hitting a .400 attack percentage. Sarahi Paez was a standout in serving, achieving six aces. Hesston's defense, led by Cato with 10 digs, kept Friends University from gaining momentum, ensuring a straight-set victory.
The Larks will be back in action on Wednesday (October 30) as they host Kansas City Kansas Community College at 6:30 p.m. for their final home match of the season.
