HESSTON, Kan. – The Hesston College women's soccer team completed the season sweep of Southeast Community College with a 7-0 home win on Saturday (October 5). The Larks scored four goals in the first half and three in the second to secure their fourth win of the season.
Jeulz Dean put the Larks on the board early in the match, scoring in the third minute. Lissette Tovar and Zoe Tevaga scored their first goals of the season in the 28th and 35th minutes to put the Larks up 3-0. Kristyn Oliver scored Hesston's next two goals on penalty kicks before Dean netted her second goal of the match in the 69th minute. The Larks final score came from Madeline Estrada, her first score of the year.
The Larks took 24 shots in the contest and placed 14 of them on target. Ashleigh Williams recorded her third shutout of the season between the posts with three saves.
