The Larks trailed by as many as 18 in the first half, but a strong second half performance where the larks went 10-for-14 from beyond the arc to outscore the Cougars by 19 and claim the victory.
Jammial Hicks led Hesston with 18 points, including three three-pointers, while John Probey was pivotal, contributing 22 points and securing seven rebounds. Terryon Stebbins added 15 points and pulled down 10 rebounds, recording a double-double. Trent Thompson chipped in 12 points, including three critical three-pointers in the second half, and Brycten Harris was nearly perfect from the free-throw line, going 7-for-8.
