Beatrice, Neb-Ā Larks Softball traveled to Beatrice, Nebraska to battle with the Bobcats and fell 6-5, and 8-0 on Wednesday. Hesston is now .500 on the season with the two losses as they will begin KJCCC play next Thursday at home against the Cloud County Community College T-Birds.

Game 1: The Bobcats got an extra inning walk off win in the bottom of the eighth to clinch game one. Sophomore Emma Killingsworth threw another complete game, going 7.2 innings and striking out five. This gives her 41 strikeouts on the season in 50.2 innings pitched. Freshman Shaylee Kesler and Sophomore Madison Gonzales each had two hits with Kesler scoring two runs as well. Freshman Mimi Castillo hit her forth double on the season and the Larks swiped two bases to bring the team total for the season to 23. Southeast pitcher K Schmitz struckout 13 batters and had two hits including one double.Ā

Game 2: This one was all Bobcats from the beginning. Southeast starting pitcher A York pitched a five inning no-hitter and only gave up one walk on the day. Freshman Shailynn Heinrichs was the lone baserunner for Hesston by way of that walk. Krahulik and Nickels had three hits each to lead the way for the Bobcats, including a home-run by Nickels.
