At the midway point in competition at the College Disc Golf National Tournament in Rock Hill, S.C., the teams are enjoying good competition on some challenging courses, connecting with players from other schools during rounds and making new friends. Both teams have played a singles round and a team round and have two team rounds remaining.


The women's teams are tied for 14th (Alyssa Burkholder and Josalyn Wipf) and tied for 20th (Lily Corkill and Phoebe Kolb) in the 28-team field. Alyssa and Josalyn are paired with a team from Ferris State University (Big Rapids, Mich.)(teeing at 9:40 a.m. eastern time) and Phoebe and Lily will play with Eastern Mennonite University's A team which includes HC alum Sadie Oesch (teeing at 9:10 a.m. eastern time) for today's round. The men (Beck Jantzi, Matt Manickam, Devin Miller and Aidan Swartzendruber) are tied for ninth in the 80-team Division 2 field and are paired with a team from Iowa State for today's round (1:10 p.m. eastern tee time).
