HESSTON, Kan. – The Hesston College men's basketball team fell 92-52 to Kansas City Kansas Community College on Saturday (Jan. 29). The Blue Devils were red hot from the field shooting 45.7% and 41.4% from beyond the arc as they moved to 4-1 in conference play. The Larks moved to 8-10 overall and 2-3 in KJCCC play.

The game started with Hesston taking an early lead, 8-2, at the 16:35 mark of the first half. However, KCKCC quickly recovered and dominated the remainder of the game. By halftime, the visiting team held a commanding 39-24 lead and continued their momentum in the second half, outscoring Hesston 53-28.

Hesston struggled offensively, shooting just 26.5% from the field and 10.3% from beyond the arc. Leading the Larks were Terryon Stebbins with 15 rebounds and 7 points and Jammial Hicks and John Probey who each contributed 8 points.

The Larks will be back at home on Wednesday (Jan. 29) to host Neosho County Community College 7:30 p.m.
