HESSTON, Kan. — Hesston College volleyball earned a straight-set win over Central Christian College 3–0 (25–18, 25–22, 25–23) in a non-conference match Tuesday (Sept. 30), to earn their third straight victory.

The Larks came out sharp in the opening set, hitting .344 as a team with 14 kills to just three errors. Lydia Foster and Layla Romero led the charge early, helping Hesston build momentum in a 25–18 win.

Central Christian found some rhythm in the second, but Hesston's offense stayed steady. Setter Audrey Garrison spread the ball around and finished with 31 assists, helping the Larks pull away late for a 25–22 win.

The third set was the tightest of the night, featuring long rallies and 15 ties as both teams traded points. In the end, Hesston leaned on big swings from Romero and Kennedie Esparza, who each finished with 11 kills, to close out the 25–23 victory. Foster chipped in 8 kills, while libero Kadence Taylor anchored the defense with 18 digs.

As a team, the Larks hit .287 with 38 kills and seven aces, while holding the Tigers to a .196 attack percentage. The win improves Hesston to 3–9 on the season.

The Larks will travel to Dallas, Texas this Saturday (Oct. 4) to face Dallas Christian College at 12:00 p.m.
