HESSTON, Kan. –The Hesston College men's soccer team earned a strong 4–0 win over Central Christian College on Tuesday night (Oct. 14) at Sieber Field. The Larks took control early and never looked back, scoring twice in the opening minutes and keeping steady pressure on both ends of the field.
Just over a minute into the match, Jaiden Fox Trevelyan scored the opener off a pass from Santi Llanos. A few minutes later, Isaias Noe Rodriguez made it 2–0 with another assist from Llanos.
The Larks kept the momentum going after halftime. In the 54th minute, Llanos scored off a setup from Trevelyan and Jeremi Saavedra Casilimas. Just three minutes later, Rodriguez struck again, assisted by Yura Yamazaki and Saul Pineda, sealing the 4–0 result.
Harry Morris recorded five saves for the shutout. Trevelyan finished with a goal and an assist, Llanos had a goal and two assists, and Rodriguez scored twice. The Larks outshot Central Christian 19–14, with a 9–5 edge in shots on goal, improving to 7–6–1 on the season.
The Larks will be back in action on Thursday (Oct. 16) at Sieber Field against the Tabor Bluejays.
