HESSTON, Kan. - The Hesston College volleyball team picked up a straight-set road win over Kansas Christian College, earning a 25-14, 25-11, 25-14 victory on Thursday evening in Overland Park. The Larks controlled the match from the opening serve, hitting .330 as a team and finishing with 40 kills, 54 digs, and nine service aces while holding the Falcons to just 23 kills and a .030 attack percentage. 
Hesston set the tone early with a 4–0 opening run, fueled by strong serving and steady ball control. The offense found its rhythm quickly, led by outside hitter Layla Romero, who finished with 12 kills on a .310 hitting percentage. Lydia Foster added 9 kills and a block, while Tanna Owens provided an efficient 6 kills and no attack errors. Kennedie Esparza contributed 7 kills, helping the Larks maintain pressure across the net.
Setter Audrey Garrison steered the offense with 28 assists, adding 12 digs and two aces in a standout all-around performance. Libero Kadence Taylor anchored the back row with 16 digs, leading a defensive effort that kept Kansas Christian out of system for much of the night. Marisa Branch and Lillian Dolberry each added two service aces to help spark key scoring runs.
The Larks' dominant second set featured a 9–0 run to open play, and Hesston continued to separate in the third with clean execution and efficient side-out play. The win improves Hesston to 8–13 on the season and builds momentum as the team moves into the final stretch of fall competition.
