SALINA, Kan. – The Hesston College women's flag football team lost a tough matchup to the Kansas Wesleyan JV team 13-0 on Wednesday (Mar. 26). The Larks held the Coyotes scoreless through the entire first half, but were unable to gain any offensive momentum as the fall to 0-4 on the season.
Alexis Pabon finished the day 19-of-32 passing for 123 yards. Akiva Brown had five catches for 41 yards and Destiny Ortiz added six catches for 31 yards. Pabon and Aby Romero each pulled six flags and Brown recorded an interception.
The Larks will be back in action on April 5 as they host both Cottey College (1 p.m.) and Bethel College (3:30 p.m.)
