Trent Thompson has been named the Continental Athletic Conference Men's Basketball offensive player of the week for his performances against Midland University and Randall University last week. This is Thompson's third time receiving player of the week honors in his career.

Thompson averaged a double-double performance (23 points and 11 rebounds) across two games for the Larks to begin the winter campaign. He scored 31 points and grabbed 14 rebounds in a victory against Randall last Saturday. The guard made 60.7 percent of his field goals (17-of-28) for the week.
