ANDOVER, Kan. — The Hesston College men's golf team hosted the Lark Invitational at Terradyne Country Club on Monday, April 6, fielding two teams in a 14-team event.
Hesston's second team posted the stronger finish, placing fifth overall with a team score of +49. The group was led by Max Laser Edin (Fr., Stockholm, Sweden), who finished 14th with a +11. Sondre Einarsrud (Fr., Holter, Norway) and Aaron Hartman (Fr., Abilene, Kan.) each finished tied for 25th at +14.
Hugo Soubran (Fr., Bayonne, France) and Ayden Garcia (Fr., Dalhart, Texas) both finished tied for 32nd with scores of +18. Max Albertsson (Fr., Borlänge, Sweden) and Kory Meireis (Fr., Kingman, Kan.) each placed tied for 37th at +19 to round out the second team's performance.
Hesston's first team finished sixth overall with a team score of +51. Vilde Dahlberg (Fr., Växjö, Sweden) led the way with a sixth-place finish at +6. Logan Lam (Fr., Wichita, Kan.) followed with a 25th-place finish at +14.
Hugo Von Sicard (Fr., Sundsvall, Sweden) finished 37th with a +19, while Ryan Ziesch (So., Wichita, Kan.) placed 42nd at +20. Liam Leikeryd (Fr., Gothenburg, Sweden) rounded out the lineup with a 45th-place finish at +21.
The Larks will return to action at the Evangel Fremont Hills Classic hosted by Evangel on Monday, April 13.
