Hesston College senior goalkeeper Ashleigh Williams was named the Continental Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week for her efforts in the Larks' 4-0 win over Sterling College and 1-1 draw against Mount Marty University.

Williams helped the Larks' to an undefeated week, posting an 0.67 goals against average and making 13 saves in two matches. The Eaton, Colo. native stopped 12 shots in the team's 1-1 draw against Mount Marty. Williams did not allow a goal in either match aside from a late penalty kick awarded to Mount Marty in the second half of Sunday's match.

Williams and the Larks will be back in action on Wednesday as they take on Central Christian College in McPherson at 5 p.m.
