Tim Cole is entering his 2nd year at Hesston and he has been the head baseball coach since he got here last August. Pryor to Hesston he was the head baseball coach for the OKC Ambassadors in the summer of 2018, during that time they won 3 tournaments and went 32-17. In the Summer of 2017 Tim was the pitching coach for the USA International Athletes In Action College Team that went to Panama and Guatemala. Tim was previously at Southern Nazarene University as an Assistant Coach 2012-2018 (Was the Catcher and Outfield coach from 2012-2014. Was then the Pitching Coach and one of the Recruiting Coordinators from 2014-2018).
Tim received his associates degree in physical education from Labette Community College in 2010, he then went on to Southern Nazarene University and received his bachelors degree in Kinesiology in 2012. Tim received his masters in sports management and administration in 2017 from Southern Nazarene University.
Tim played baseball for two years at Labette Community College. Was an All-Jayhawk Conference selection as a pitcher and helped lead the Cardinals to the regional tournament. NJCAA Academic All-American 2009 and 2010 seasons. He earned an associate's in physical education in 2010. He pitched in the NBC World Series as the closer for the Derby Twins (Jayhawk Summer League) in 2009 and 2010 as Derby reached the semifinals in the NBC World Series both years. He was also a starting pitcher for the Niagara Power in the Summer of 2011 and was selected to the NYCBL All-Star game. He helped lead the Niagara Power to their first playoffs. Tim was a starting Pitcher for Southern Nazarene University in 2011 and 2012. NAIA Academic All-American both 2011 and 2012 Seasons, and was a NAIA Daktronics Scholar Athlete in 2012.
Tim enjoys visiting National Parks with his wife Casey, skiing, fly fishing, hunting, watching epic movies from the 90's, traveling,learning different cultures, and being involved in Sports Ministry and Servant Leadership.
Tim was born and raised in Mulvane, KS and currently resides in Hesston, KS with his wife Casey.
