Hesston, KS - Lark's Women's Soccer team will have their first official home game of the year tomorrow. They will look to keep building on a good weekend they had last week securing their first win of the season.
They will take on Northeastern Junior College from Sterling, CO. The Plainsmen come into Saturday's matchup with a record of 1-1. They have lost to Northeast Community College 6-2 and beaten Pratt Community College 5-0. They are led in goals by freshman Yadira Ramos with five goals on the season, one coming from a penalty kick.
The Larks head into the match-up 1-0 after defeating Nebraska Christian 4-1 last Saturday. The larks are lead by
Kara Longenecker with 2 goals and
Den Morita with 4 saves on the young season. After the conclusion of this match the Larks will begin looking forward to starting conference play. They will have their first KJCCC matchup of the year Wednesday, September 4 at 5:00 PM at Sieber Field against Cloud County CC.
