Kansas City, KS -
The Larks were unable to extend their ten game winning streak this afternoon as they fell on the road to KCK 88-69, this brings the Larks record to (13-6, 1-1) on the season. This loss was their first of the new year, and their first since November 19.
Game Notes
The Larks had a sluggish start in the first half as it seemed none of their shots would drop as they shot just 12.5% from three point range, which is normal a strong suit in the Larks game plan. They trailed 43-34 going into the second half as they tried to find a spark to help them keep their winning streak alive. Hesston was unable to knock down shots tonight as they shot 11-31 in the second half, as the Blue Devils took advantage of their missed shots and out scored them 45-35 in the second half.Â
Jacob Baker (So. Wichita, Kan.) led the Larks in scoring as he recorded 19 points as he went 6-7 from the free throw line.Â
Langston Flowers (Fr. Dallas, Texas) added 16 points and had 7 rebounds on the game,
Reese Nebel (So. Hesston, Kan.) also added 15 points.
