The Larks were unable to pull off a huge upset against the #2 Kansas City Kansas Community College as they fell 82-55, this brings their record to (3-16, 1-1) on the season.



Game Notes

The Larks started the game out hot as Destiny Kessay (Fr. McNary, Ariz.) scored 7 points in the first quarter as she went 3-4 from the field.  The Larks trailed the Blue Devils 36-24 at the half after they played lockdown defense on the #2 team in the nation.  Hesston started the second half cold as they were unable to handle the ball, which led to the Blue Devils padding their lead.  They committed 33 turnovers, which led to 27 points for KCK.  KCK would continue to stretch out their lead as they defeated the Larks 82-55, improving their record to (19-2, 1-1) on the season.  Destiny Kessay led the Larks in scoring with 13 points, she also led the Larks with 5 steals.  Parris Rawls (So. McKinney, Texas) added 9 points and also had 7 rebounds, Brandaija Johnson (Fr. Wichita, Kan.) also added 8 points.
