The Larks traveled to Sterling College last night to face off with the Warriors were they defeated them 78-76, this brings their record to (4-16, 1-1) on the season as the prepare to pick conference play back up. Â

Hesston played a hard fought battle last night against the Warriors as they avenged their loss from earlier in the season to even up the season series. A big performance by Gina DeFazio (Fr. Wichita, Kan.) led the Larks to victory as she recorded 19 points and hit the buzzer beating three to bring the final score to 78-76. DeFazio set her career high in points, and assists (6). Sydney Bontager (Fr. Milford, Neb.) continued her dominance as she secured her 6th double-double as she had 19 points, and 15 rebounds!
Destiny Kessay (Fr. McNary, Ariz.) added 14 points to go along with 4 assists, and 5 rebounds. Â
