The Larks will look to begin the season 2-0, after a convincing win over Nationwide Prep on Wednesday night.  They will head to El Dorado, Kansas this afternoon as they face off in a non-conference match-up versus Butler County Community College beginning at 2:00 PM.  No Fans are allowed at this match-up due to KJCCC protocol.  


PREVIOUS GAME

The Larks put up a convencing win over Nationwide Prep, where we saw three Larks score in double figures.  Juwuan Clifton (So. Conway, Arkansas) led the team in scoring with 17 points to go along with his 6 boards.  Ethan Hildebrand (Fr. Stafford, Kansas) led the team in rebounds as he grabbed 10 and had 8 points as well in his collegiate debut.  Elijah Smith (RS Fr. Kansas City, Missouri) had an all-around great game as he scored 16 points, grabbed 8 rebounds, and had 6 assists.  The Larks outstanding team performance helped secure them the 66-57 victory over Nationwide Prep, bringing their overall record to 1-0.

Hesston is 1-0 on the season after winning in their season opener.  Hesston is led in scoring by Juwuan Clifton, who is averaging 17.0 points per game.  Ethan Hildebrand is the leading rebounder for the Larks as he is averaging 10.0 rebounds per game, and Elijah Smith is the team leader in assists, averaging 6.0 assists per game.  


ABOUT THE GRIZZLIES

Butler is 1-0 on the season as the defeated Sterling College JV by a score of 117-50.  Butler is led in scoring by Freshman RJ McGarthy, who is averaging 15.0 points per game.  Freshman Isaiah Williams leads the team in rebounds per game with 7.0, and Sophomore Keyon Thomas leads them in assists with 8.0 per game.
