Hesston, KS -


The Larks fell in a close battle with Southeast CC this evening by a score of 67-58.  This loss put the Larks record back at .500 as they sit at 4-4, this loss also ends their three game winning streak.  


Hesston was able to stick around with a good Southeast team as they trailed by as much as 18 points, and were able to shrink that lead down to just 3 points in the fourth quarter.  Destiny Kessay had another great game as she finished 23 points which was a career high!  Sydney Bontrager recorded her eighth consecutive game with with 10+ rebounds as she finished with a game high 18 boards to go along with 13 points.  Sadie Svymbersky finished with a career high as she had 9 points including a big three pointer!  

The Larks will now have to wait until March 3 to play their first conference as their game on Saturday versus Labette has been postponed and will be made up at a later date.  Hesston will begin preparing to face off with KCK for their first conference game.
