The Larks hosted the Greyhounds of Fort Scott last night inside Yost Center, where they lost a close game 55-51. Â This loss brings the Larks overall record to (4-7, 0-3) on the season, they will be heading to Highland CC on Saturday for their next conference match. Â
Both teams battled it out throughout the entire game, as neither team was able to build a huge lead. Â The Larks found themselves leading 49-46 with 7:37 left in the game, after
Destiny Kessay knocked down a pair of free throws.  Turnovers in the last few minutes of the game would play a huge role in allowing the Greyhounds to take advantage and take the game 55-51. Â
Sydney Bontrager had an outstanding game as she almost finished with a triple-double as she had 17 points, 17 rebounds, and 7 blocks. Â Sydney also shot 80% from the field as she knocked down 8-10 shots, and went 1-1 from the free throw line. Â
Natalia Bochenek had a good game as she finished with 8 points, 5 rebounds, and shot 4-8 from the field. Â
