The Larks hosted #4 KCK this afternoon on sophomore day inside Yost center where they would fall 70-47.  This brings their record to (4-11, 0-7) on the season with just three games left to play in the regular season.  


The first three quarters featured some very close play between the two teams as the Larks trailed by 7 points (50-43) going into the fourth quarter.  The Larks were held to just 4 points in the fourth as the Blue Devils ran away with the game.  The Larks showed a lot of fight this afternoon as they put up a good battle with the #4 team in the nation.  Destiny Kessay finished with a game high 19 points on 8-19 shooting from the field.  Sydney Bontrager recorded another double-double as she finished with 18 points and 12 rebounds.  During halftime, four women's basketball players were honored for sophomore day, those sophomores were: Sydney Bontrager, Destiny Kessay, Myley George, and Hannah Williams.  You can find photos from sophomore day HERE.

The Larks will be back in action on Wednesday evening on the road as they face off with Johnson County at 5:30 PM.  They will have one more home game this season, they will play on March 31 versus Highland CC.
