Women's Soccer Drops Match with Southeast CC

Box Score Hesston, KS -

Women's Soccer looked to improve to 2-0 in conference play this evening as they hosted Southeast CC in their first home conference match of the season.  The Larks won their previous match versus Central CC and looked to add to their win total for the season.

The first half featured great defensive play by the Larks as they stopped all attacks from the Storm.  Katie Robeck kept Southeast off the scoreboard as she had 3 saves, and the score was 0-0 going into the half.

In the 65th minute, Southeast got on the board first as they scored on a put-back goal and took a 1-0 lead.  Southeast would add another late goal with just 30 seconds left in the game and take the 2-0 lead.  The Larks had a few opportunities to get on the board in the second half but were unable to get the ball in the net.  They would go on to drop the match by a score of 2-0

They now hold a season record of (1-7-1, 1-1), they will now head to Highland CC on Wednesday afternoon and look to get back above .500 in conference play.
