Hesston, Kan - The Larks improve to 7-2 on the season led by sophomore Luke McGinnis and his 24 points. Hesston had five double digit scores all together and shot 33 percent from the 3pt line. Sophomore Rob Gambill blocked five shots giving him 16 on the season. Rob and Luke rank 1st and 3rd in the NJCAA DII for 3pt shots made. They have 30 and 29 respectively over the first nine games. Two other Larks that had season best games were freshman Jammial Hicks Jr. and sophomore Montreal Myles. Junior put in 16 points on seven made shots and Montreal had 15 on seven shots as well.  

This win gets the Larks to a 15-2 record all time vs. the Bethel College Threshers. 

Hesston has three games next week starting Tuesday vs. Haskell Indian Nations University, Friday vs. Kansas Wesleyan, and Saturday vs. Sunrise Christian Academy of Wichita, Kan. 

Turning Point

Shooting over 48 percent as a team in the first half allowed the Larks to build their 10 point lead by half.
