COLBY, Kan. – Hesston College freshman forward Tyler Beckford was named the Division II Men's Soccer Player of the Week by the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference as announced by the conference office on Tuesday, October 15.

Beckford was one of two Larks to record a hat trick in the 6-6 draw with Pratt last week. Beckford recorded a rare perfect hat trick scoring a goal with both of his feet and one with his head. The three-goal performance put Beckford at nine goals for the season.

Beckford and the Larks will be back in action on Saturday (October 19) as they travel to Columbus, Neb. To take on Central Community College.
