Hesston, Kan -  The Hesston Larks offense showed moments of spark as they fell to the McCook Indians 17-7 in eight innings on Wednesday evening. Hesston started the game off with two quick runs in the bottom of the first. Freshman leadoff hitter Aiden McCullough had himself a day, with three hits (1 HR) (1 2B) and four runs batted in to lead to the Larks with (12). This was his first collegiate home run of his career. 

Freshman Dylan Rich started on the mound, pitching two innings and giving up three runs, though none earned. Freshman Cutter Livermore was the most patient at the plate for the Larks with two walks and one run scored. Freshman Michael Clayton also had a good game driving in two runs on a double for his 5th RBI of the season. 

Hesston was plagued with fielding miscues as they committed a season high seven errors in the field. 

With the loss Hesston moves to 0-1 all-time against the Indians as it was their first ever documented matchup between schools in baseball.

 Marshalltown CC on Sunday March 10th 12/3pm

Minnesota Post Grad on Wednesday March 13th 1/4pm

Iowa lakes CC on Sat/Sun March 16/17th 1/4pm and 12/3pm
