IOLA, Kan. - The Hesston College volleyball team faced a tough matchup against Allen County Community College on Wednesday (September 25). Despite a strong effort, Hesston fell in straight sets, with scores of 15-25, 18-25, and 17-25.

Hesston struggled a bit offensively, finishing with an overall hitting percentage of .044. Joanna Gomez led the attack with six kills and added four digs, while Laura Rojas contributed eight kills and seven digs. Audrey Garrison was active on defense, recording 11 digs, and Sarahi Paez led the team with 16 digs.

Allen County posted a .295 hitting percentage, led by Josie Weers, who delivered 16 kills with a .424 hitting efficiency. The Red Devils also played strong defensively, with 59 digs as a team, and out-blocked Hesston with a total of nine blocks.
