Larks Esports Claim Rivals Win, Fall in Valorant and Rocket League

Sept. 29 – Hesston College 0, Davenport University 2
The Hesston College Larks Valorant team fell 2-0 against Davenport University on Sept. 29. In the first map on Duality, Dan Guilluame led the way with 12 kills, Juan Hernandez added 11, and Sterling Lies finished with 9 kills and 6 assists, while Nick Win and Archer Locust each chipped in 6. The Larks came back stronger on Jam, where Guilluame dropped 23 kills with 8 assists, Hernandez followed with 19, and Win added 14. Locust put up 10 kills, and Lies added 7 with a team-high 9 assists. 
 
Marvel Rivals
Sept. 30 – Hesston College 3, Loyola Marymount 2
The Hesston College Larks Marvel Rivals team went the distance against Davenport, finishing with an intense 3–2 series win in overtime. In Game 1, Aiden Neil led with 35 eliminations, while Robert Deibert and Zach Kaufman added 20 apiece and Joey Twibell chipped in 14 assists with 24k healing. Game 2 was a blowout victory as Neil racked up 61 kills, Kaufman 51, and Deibert 37, supported by Twibell's 53 assists and 42k healing. The Larks dropped Games 3 and 4 despite 32 kills from Neil and steady support from Twibell, who added 41k and 27k healing. The series went to overtime, where the Larks pulled away in Game 5 behind Neil with 50 eliminations, Kaufman with 41, Archer Locust with 38, and Twibell anchoring the team with 42 assists and 56k healing. It was a complete team effort that sealed the 3–2 victory.
 
Rocket League
Oct. 1 – Hesston College 2, Missouri S&T 4
Missouri S&T edged out Hesston College 4–2 in a hard-fought Rocket League series. Robert Deibert powered the Larks' offense with 6 total goals, including 4 in Game 3, and added 3 saves. Nick Weisgram contributed 2 goals, 3 assists, and 3 saves, while Ethan Connelly scored 2 goals and made 4 saves to anchor the defense. As a team, the Larks finished with 10 goals, 7 assists, and 13 saves, creating plenty of chances but ultimately falling short against Missouri S&T's steady attack.
