JOPLIN, Mo. – The Hesston College golf team competed at the Evangel Fall Invitational hosted by Evangel University at Twin Hills Golf & Country Club from Oct. 6-7.  The Larks finished fourth in the overall standings. The Larks shot a 54-hole total of 915 (+51) with rounds of +16,+18, and +17.
Hugo Von Sicard led the Larks with a 228 (+12) total with rounds of 73, 77 and 78 which was good for a 15th-place finish. Von Sicard had five birdies in the tournament. 
Kory Meireis was the next highest finisher for the Larks tying for 18th with a 231 (+4, +3, +8). 
Max Laser Edin (232; +3, +9, +4), Vilde Dahlberg (232; +10, +2, +4), 
Logan Lam (233; +7, +3, +7), and 
Ryan Ziesch (235; +8, +8, +3) all finished in the top 25 as well. Laser Edin tied for the 17th-most birdies in the tournament with 6. 
The Larks will be back in action next week (Oct. 13-14) at the Friends Classic Cup in Wichita, Kan.
