KEENE, Texas — The Hesston College women's soccer team dropped a 2–0 match on the road to Southwestern Adventist University on Tuesday afternoon. The Larks played strong defensively but were unable to find the back of the net.

Southwestern Adventist scored once in each half, both goals coming from Lesly Cardona. The first was in the 17th minute, assisted by Magalee Rivas, and the second came late in the match in the 84th minute to seal the win.

For Hesston, goalkeeper Ashleigh Williams worked the full 90 minutes, recording two saves on four shots on goal. Lissette Tovar led the attack with three shots, all on target, while Victoria Ramos added one shot on goal. Brooklyn Paskett also tallied a shot attempt.

As a team, Hesston finished with four shots on goal and one corner kick, while committing just four fouls. Southwestern Adventist outshot the Larks 11–4 and earned four corners in the second half.

The Larks move to 3–8–1 on the season and will face Central Christian College in Hesston next Tuesday (Oct. 14) at 5:00 p.m.
