WICHITA, Kan. – The Hesston College men's golf team competed in the Crestview Fall Invitational hosted by Friends University from Sept. 15-16. The Larks finished seventh in an 11-team field with a total score of 898 (+34) in three rounds. The Larks posted round scores of +9 and +3 on the first day keeping them in the finning for a top-finish, but some struggles on day two led to a +22 round landing them near the middle of the pack. 
Hugo Von Sicard led the Larks with a 216 (+1) which was good for 11th place. Von Sicard shot rounds of 70, 69 and 78 with 12 birdies in the tournament. Liam Leikeryd finished 25th with rounds of 72, 76 and 77 carding nine birdies and an eagle. Vilde Dahlberg was 33rd with a total score of +12 carding seven birdies. 
The Larks will be back at it next week at the Central Plains Classic hosted by Kansas Wesleyan University at Sand Creek Station in Newton.
