TEXARKANA, Texas — The Hesston College men's golf team competed at the Texarkana Invitational, hosted by Texas A&M–Texarkana on March 16–17, finishing eighth as a team.
The Larks posted a three-round total of +145 for the tournament, shooting +55 in round one, +54 in round two and improving to +36 in the final round. Hesston earned 10.02 team points in the event.
Sondre Einarsrud (Fr., Holter, Norway) led the Larks with a 32nd-place finish, posting a +34 tournament score and earning 10.87 points. Aaron Hartman (Fr., Abilene, Kan.) finished 33rd with a +35 score and 10.00 points.
Liam Leikeryd (Fr., Gothenburg, Sweden) and Logan Lam (Fr., Wichita, Kan.) both finished tied for 34th place with a +36 score, each earning 9.20 points. Vilde Dahlberg (Fr., Vaxjo, Sweden) finished tied for 38th with a +37 score and 8.47 points.
Max Albertsson (Fr., Borlänge, Sweden) and Kory Meireis (Fr., Kingman, Kan.) tied for 46th place with a +44 score, earning 4.73 points. Hugo Von Sicard (Fr., Sundsvall, Sweden) finished in 48th place with a +50 score and earned 2.87 points.
The Larks will return to action March 23–24 at the Oakwood Intercollegiate in Enid, Oklahoma.
