COLBY, Kan. – The Kansas Jayhawk Community College conference announced their 2024 all-conference women's soccer teams on Wednesday (November 6) and four Hesston College players were among the honorees.
Rena Itoga, a freshman forward from Saitama, Japan, was named second team all-conference in her first collegiate season. Itoga led the Larks with 10 goals this season including two hat trick performances, one of which earned her KJCCC Player of the Week honors. Rena placed 24 of her 35 shots on target (.686).
Ashleigh Williams, a sophomore goalkeeper from Eaton, Colo., earned her second career all-conference honor with an honorable mention selection this year. Williams recorded 109 saves this season bringing her career total to 233, the fifth-most in program history. She also led the Lark defense to three shutouts this season.
Lissette Tovar, a freshman from Wichita, Kan., earned an honorable mention selection at midfielder. She scored one goal this season and made two assists.
Kristyn Oliver, Amarillo, Texas, also earned an honorable mention selection at midfielder in her first season with the Larks. Oliver started all 15 matches for the Larks recording six goals and one assist.
