Hesston College junior midfielder Alex Radu earned Continental Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week honors for his efforts in last week's 8-1 victory over Bethany College.
The London, England native helped the Larks to an early lead by assisting on their first goal in the third minute. Radu would go on to record three of his own goals in the 18th, 59th and 69th minutes for his first career hat trick helping the Larks to their first 3-0 start since 2019. Alex has scored at least one goal in each of the Larks three matches including the game winning goals in their first two matches. Radu is currently tied for the most goals in the nation (6) and leads the nation in points (14).
Radu and the Larks will look to continue their unbeaten streak on Wednesday (Sep. 2) as they head to Hillsboro to take on Tabor College at 7 p.m.
