PLYMOUTH, Ind. – Freshmen Ivar Bruce (Gavle, Sweden) and Mark Neeley (Arlington, Texas) represented the Hesston College men's golf team at the 2025 NJCAA DII National Championships held at Swan Lake Resort from May 20-23.
Bruce had an incredible start to the tournament going +4 in his first round and shooting two-under in his second round to put his overall score at +2 which was tied for fourth-place individually. Bruce shot an eagle on the 18th hole to put him under par for the round. The second half of the tournament was tougher for the Sweden native as he posted scores of +11 and +5 to finish T-34th place with a final score of +18.
Neeley struggled early on posting rounds of +5, +8 and +10 before shooting a +3 in the final round. He scored nine birdies in the tournament but a handful of double and triple bogeys on the challenging course held him to a T-62 finish with a final score of +26.
