COLBY, Kan. - The Kansas Jayhawk Community College conference announced their 2024 all-conference men's soccer teams on Wednesday (November 6) and four Hesston College players were among the honorees.
Tyler Beckford, a freshman forward from Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands, was named to the all-KJCCC first team. Beckford led the team with 10 goals tallying 21 points for the season (10 goals and one assist) and earned KJCCC Player of the Week honors with a perfect hat trick against Pratt.
Alex Radu, a freshman from London, England, was named an honorable mention selection as a midfielder. Radu started in all 18 matches for the Larks this season and tallied 18 points (seven goals and four assists).
Paul Torres, a freshman midfielder from Paris, Texas, was also named an honorable mention selection. Also starting all 18 contests for the Larks, Torres managed one goal and two assists.
Mauricio Ramirez, a freshman from El Paso, Texas, was an honorable mention selection at defender. Ramirez played in all 18 matches for Hesston and made 17 starts while recording two goals and three assists.
