Hesston College freshman Cecilia Solis, from Wichita, Kansas, earned recognition for her strong play in the Continental Athletic Conference tournament. In the Larks' quarterfinal match against Dakota State University, Solis made the most of her opportunity, scoring the team's lone goal on her only shot of the game, while playing all 110 minutes of the match.

A key part of Hesston's back line throughout the season, Solis helped anchor the defense and contributed to two team shutouts. The goal marked the first of her collegiate career and capped a season in which she recorded four total shots on goal and one assist.
